Continue to promote cooperation with the Embassy of Iran

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan introduced the work situation of the University, emphasizing the long-term cooperative relationship with the Embassy of Iran as well as the long history of training and research on Iran. The Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University has organized many seminars, exchange events, and exhibitions to introduce the people and country of Iran, as well as organizing Persian language courses for students. The University wants to continue to expand its relationship with the Embassy of Iran and universities in Tehran.

Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari expressed his pleasure at the warm welcome and acknowledged the efforts in promoting research and teaching on Persian culture and language of the University. He shared that the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam is always ready to support in connecting the University with Iranian universities, upgrading the Iran study room, promoting the exchange of Iranian and Vietnamese lecturers and scholars, and providing scholarships to support research on Iran. He also invited the University's Board of Directors to visit Iran to learn and share educational experiences between the two countries.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the goodwill of Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari. The Rector pledged that the University will take advantage of the support from the Iranian Embassy to promote relations with partners on the other side. At the same time, the units specializing in training and researching on Iran, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, will certainly be a reliable address to popularize Iranian history, culture and language to the Vietnamese public.

Next, Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari visited the Iran Studies Department at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
