During the meeting, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan introduced the university's work, emphasizing the long-standing cooperation with the Iranian Embassy as well as its long history of training and research on Iran. The Faculty of Oriental Studies has organized numerous seminars, exchange events, and exhibitions to introduce the people and country of Iran, as well as offering Persian language courses for students. The university wishes to further expand its relationship with the Iranian Embassy and universities in Tehran.

Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari expressed his delight at the warm welcome and acknowledged the school's efforts in promoting research and teaching on Persian culture and language. He shared that the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam is always ready to support the school in connecting with Iranian universities, upgrading the Iranian Studies room, promoting the exchange of Iranian and Vietnamese lecturers and scholars, and providing scholarships to support research on Iran. He also extended an invitation to the school's leadership to visit Iran to learn about and share educational experiences between the two countries.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the goodwill from Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari. The Rector pledged that the University would utilize the support from the Iranian Embassy to promote relations with Iranian partners. At the same time, the Department of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, specializing in training and research on Iran, will certainly be a reliable source for disseminating Iranian history, culture, and language to the Vietnamese public.
