Attending the ceremony on behalf of the People's Representative Newspaper were Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huyen (Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief); Mr. Le Thanh Kim (Deputy Editor-in-Chief) and leaders of the Newspaper's departments and offices. On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector) and leaders of departments, functional centers, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper Pham Thi Thanh Huyen reviewed the milestones of the People's Representative Newspaper in the process of building and growing over the past 35 years (1988-2023); introduced the newspaper's key activities and many achievements that the People's Representative Newspaper has achieved in its 35-year journey. From a newspaper with the role of informing and promptly propagating important political events of the country; deeply, qualitatively and distinctively propagating the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels as well as the thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people, up to now, the Newspaper has built and developed columns on all aspects of the country's economy, law, life, education, health, etc. Currently, in addition to the daily printed newspaper (daily newspaper), an electronic newspaper has been built.

At the same time, Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thanh Huyen also affirmed: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi is the cradle of scientific research, training high-quality human resources, high level of social sciences and humanities, the leading and largest in the country. Emphasizing this, Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thanh Huyen stated that, with the position, potential and many similarities in mission and vision between the Newspaper and the school, this media cooperation signing ceremony will certainly contribute positively to promoting the development process of each unit, enhancing mutual understanding, exploiting resources and strengths of each side to develop together, spreading beautiful information and images of the two units, bringing good values to society, serving the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thanh Huyen also proposed contents that can effectively cooperate between the two units: People's Representative Newspaper will actively support communication work in the school's activities, create favorable conditions for professional environment in supporting scientific research, training work, such as receiving students of the school to visit, practice, intern at the newspaper; exchange experiences, knowledge, skills on issues of mutual interest.
Principal Hoang Anh Tuan shared his good impressions and expressed his deep gratitude for the warm and respectful welcome that the Board of Directors and staff of the Newspaper had given to the School. The signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of media and journalism with the Newspaper is one of the key activities in the development strategy of the School, aiming to create conditions for the staff and students of the School to have more opportunities to exchange, study, practice, and practice; promote scientific research activities on topics of mutual interest; increase resources of both sides to bring good values to society. After the signing of the cooperation agreement today, the School hopes that the Newspaper's experts will become guest lecturers, participating in the school's scientific research projects. The professional and modern working environment of the Newspaper is also a very valuable address for students to practice, help them find suitable jobs after graduation.
