Dr. Vu Duc Binh (Deputy Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion) expressed his joy at being able to cooperate with one of the leading training units in the country in the fields of social sciences and humanities. The idea of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the units today has great practical significance, not only providing an internship address for students to have the conditions to apply the knowledge they have learned into practice but also helping to promote the strengths of each side in the field of training students with proficient knowledge and skills, becoming excellent social workers. The Hematology Hospital and the National Institute of Hematology annually organize training courses on knowledge and skills in mental health care for patients for medical staff and employees of many large hospitals in Hanoi and the whole country. In addition, the number of hospital patients is increasing, with long-term treatment, so the demand for experts in the field of social work is very large.
