University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

This was the theme of the international scientific conference jointly organized by the Strong Research Group on Vietnamese Politics, Law and Religion, VNU Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Thai Binh University this afternoon, August 15, 2025.

On the afternoon of June 25, 2025, the "AVP–USSH Academic Mentoring Reflections" program took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU–USSH). This meaningful activity aimed to summarize, share, and draw lessons from the implementation of the academic mentoring program between VNU-USSH lecturers and international volunteers from the Australian Volunteer Program (AVP) – an initiative funded by the Australian Government.

This was the topic discussed at the interdisciplinary academic exchange jointly organized by the Faculty of Linguistics, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and the Sejong Korean Language Center Hanoi (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH) this morning, June 17, 2025.

On May 15, 2025, at the 2025 Science, Technology and Innovation Conference, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) awarded Certificates of Merit from the VNU Director to nearly 150 scientists who had achieved outstanding results in scientific research in 2024.

This was the content of the discussion at the seminar on the topic "Methods of writing scientific articles in Vietnamese and international journals" organized by the Faculty of Linguistics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi on April 25, 2025, which attracted the participation of numerous doctoral students, master's students, young lecturers and interested researchers.

The launching ceremony was organized by the Cam Pha City Party Committee and People's Committee on April 22, 2025, in Cam Pha City (Quang Ninh province), to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 25, 1975 - April 30, 2025); and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Region (April 25, 1955 - April 24, 2025).

Following the directive of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in Official Letter No. 794/VNU-KHCN dated February 17, 2024, regarding the proposal of VNU-level science and technology tasks for 2026, the School requests heads of units to inform scientists so they can propose tasks.

The scientific workshop "Contributing Feedback on the Project for Compiling the Nam Dinh Gazetteer" on January 14, 2025, was attended by leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments and agencies, scientists of Nam Dinh province; representatives of leaders and scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), and interested lecturers and scientists.

On December 24, 2024, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organized the third Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Dialogue Program in 2024.

Following the success of organizing the First and Second International Scientific Conferences on Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, is organizing the Third International Scientific Conference with the theme "The Third International Conference on the Issues of Social Sciences and Humanities".

To promote cooperation among universities nationwide that train students in basic sciences, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is hosting and coordinating with universities across the country to organize the 2024 Conference of Universities Training in Basic Sciences with the theme: "Basic Sciences and National Responsibility".

I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about his many years of teaching alongside his scientific research in Philosophy and Religious Studies filled me with admiration and respect for an educator and scientist who has dedicated his entire life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

This morning, November 29, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with the Propaganda Department of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and the Lao Cai Provincial Political School, organized the national scientific conference "Promoting the Values ​​and Resources of Social and Humanities to Serve the Development of Lao Cai Province into a Growth Pole and Regional Connectivity Center by 2030, with a Vision to 2050".
