University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The schoolyard of My Dinh High School in Hanoi was quite different today, because from early Monday morning, teachers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and other member universities of Vietnam National University, Hanoi were present for the 2024 University Admissions Counseling program.

On February 20, 2024, an international scientific conference themed “Multidisciplinary Approaches in the Study of History and International Relations in the 20th-21st Centuries: From the Perspectives of Vietnamese and French Scholars” was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

In 2023, the science and technology activities of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) achieved many successes with a significant increase in international publications and the synchronized development of an innovation and startup ecosystem.

On February 5, 2024, Cybermetrics Labs (part of the Spanish National Research Council) announced the results of the first Webometrics ranking of 2024. In this ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) increased its position in the top 700 worldwide, and for the first time, the Impact criterion entered the top 500 worldwide (position 495).

In 2024, higher education underwent significant transformations, requiring universities to innovate their perspectives on interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary development, innovation, and vocational training for students.

The seminar discussed solutions and strategies for positioning Vietnamese businesses' brands in global media.

This was the sentiment shared by many students from Nam Dinh and Thai Binh provinces who visited and received advice at the admissions information booth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) during the program on January 20-21.

From January 15-19, 2024, the Training Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized a training session on using the LMS software for all first-year students to better support their studies and research.

On the afternoon of January 15, 2024, the Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH held its first meeting with the participation of the leadership of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The conference will be held from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM on January 16, 2024 (Tuesday) for the QH-2020-X and QH-2021-X terms; and from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM on January 19, 2024 (Friday) for the QH-2022-X and QH-2023-X terms.

This was the main point emphasized by scientists at the Workshop on Developing Regulations for Compiling the Nam Dinh Gazetteer, held on the morning of January 12, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

American scholars shared with faculty and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) the dedication and practical activities of veterans during and after the American war in Vietnam.

This was emphasized by Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, at the 2023 Party Work Conference held at the end of December 2023.

Three accredited undergraduate training programs include Information Management, Information and Library Science, and Tourism and Travel Service Management.

These three scientific reports are the distilled research results of scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, submitted to the Government's Religious Affairs Committee to improve policies on religion and belief.
