University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The 100th anniversary of the birth of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (November 23, 1922 - November 23, 2022) was organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Vinh Long province was the presiding unit in organizing and implementing the event.

On November 17-18, 2023, as part of his working visit to Thailand, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), visited and worked with partners in Udon Thani Province, northeastern Thailand.

This morning, November 23, 2023, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, received and worked with representatives from Salento University, Italy.

Hanoi University is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. For me, this is a truly significant event, because in 1983-1984 I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work at this prestigious university alongside wonderful Vietnamese colleagues. I will always remember that I was not just a lecturer seconded from Kazan University (Soviet Union), but like "family," a member of the Hanoi University family.

The heartfelt sentiments of former student Takano Isao and his family towards the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, are a testament to the sacred teacher-student relationship and the warm friendship between the people of Vietnam and Japan.

As part of the activities celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Faculty's establishment and 64 years of Vietnamese language teaching tradition, on November 19, 2023, the faculty and students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language (VNH&TV) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, solemnly organized the "International Cultural Festival 2023 - Cultural Odyssey".

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) has many good policies to encourage lecturers and scientists to conduct research and publish textbooks, reference books, and monographs.

On November 3, 2023, the Institute of Policy and Management under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a milestone in its development and significant contributions to policy and management research in Vietnam.

From October 31st to November 2nd, 2023, the 358th AUN-QA Program Evaluation Team officially worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi to conduct a direct evaluation of three undergraduate programs: Sociology, Psychology, and International Studies.

On October 29-30, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held its 2023 Training Conference with the participation of the Board of Directors, leaders of faculties/institutes/centers and functional departments.

The preliminary round of the Northern region of the 2023 Vietnamese Public Speaking Contest for International Students in Vietnam, held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on October 28th, concluded with many profound impressions of the students' love for the Vietnamese language, culture, and people.

Following the success of the 2022 Investment Promotion Conference, and in order to attract resources for the development of the VNU urban area in Hoa Lac to meet the learning and research requirements as directed by the Prime Minister, VNU will organize the 2023 Investment Promotion Conference in Hoa Lac on November 4-5 with many attractive activities.

This morning, October 24, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with the KF-Samsung Scholarship Foundation (Korea), held a scholarship awarding ceremony for outstanding students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Internships and practical training are a mandatory component of the curriculum for third-year students in the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the aim of bringing students closer to real life through practical experiences.
