This morning, November 9th, 2010, the Philosophy Department held a presentation on the late Professor Tran Duc Thao with the participation of two French scholars: Jean-Pierre Han and Jean-François Poirier.

On November 2nd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a meeting and working session with representatives from the Federal Archives of Russia.

On the morning of November 1st, 2010, the Autumn Course “Global Politics and Urban Dynamics,” jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Free University of Berlin, with funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), officially opened.

From October 20-24, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the 7th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO – 2010) in Nanning City, Guangxi (China).

On the morning of October 13, 2010, Professor Vincent JH Houben (Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies, Humboldt University) gave a presentation to faculty and students of the Faculty of International Studies. This was part of a series of activities leading up to the 15th anniversary of the Faculty of International Studies.

On October 11, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and E-Sarn University (Thailand) signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.

The opening ceremony for the 4th cohort of the French-language Master's programs in Organizational Management (MADO) and Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology (PDEA), academic year 2010-2011, took place on the morning of October 11th. This is a joint training program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Toulouse II-Le Mirail (France).

On the morning of October 5th, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University – met and worked with Professor Olivier Garro – Director of the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the Agency for Francophone Universities (AUF). The main topic of the meeting was cooperation programs in training between the two sides.

On September 22nd, representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam gave a presentation about the 2011 Fulbright Scholar Program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the morning of September 20th, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - the Rector of the University - held a meeting and working session with representatives from Bansomdej University (Thailand) and the National University of Laos.

On September 11th, a high-level delegation from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) visited and witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and Chinese universities at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

This morning, August 31, 2010, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University - received the Walonie Bruxelles delegation (Belgium) and discussed cooperation between Walonie Bruxelles and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On June 23, 2010, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, attended the conference "Historical Lessons in the Process of National Unification and Experiences for South Korea" and was one of four scholars to present a paper at the conference.

On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), representatives from the British Council, led by Mr. Robin Rickard – Director of the British Council in Vietnam – visited and presented flowers and congratulations to the Faculty of Journalism and Communication.
