On December 22, 2012, the Faculty of Management - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Hue University, organized a scientific seminar on the topic "Improving the curriculum and conducting pilot teaching of the subject of Intellectual Property in universities and colleges in the field of educational science".

On December 20, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an international conference entitled "The Rule of Law: Some Theoretical and Practical Issues". Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu – Vice Rector of the University – attended and delivered the opening speech.

On December 14, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with Gakushuin University (Japan) and Myongji University (Korea), organized an international scientific conference on the theme "Organization and Promotion of the Value of People's Archival Documents".

On December 8, 2012, the Center for Chinese Studies held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary and a scientific seminar titled "Chinese Studies 2012-2022: Trends and Prospects".

On December 7, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an international scientific seminar entitled "Religion in Contemporary Vietnamese Society".

During her trip to Hanoi to attend the Fourth International Conference on Vietnamese Studies, Professor Quyen Di Chuc Bui (University of California, Los Angeles and California State University, Long Beach) accepted an invitation to give a presentation at the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language on the morning of November 29, 2012. The topic of the presentation was "Orientation of Vietnamese Studies Training in the United States".

On the morning of November 24, 2012, the International Conference on Training, Research and Application of Psychology in the Context of International Integration was held in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The international scientific conference on the theme "Inequality in Development: Problems and Solutions for East Asian and Southeast Asian Countries," organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with Stockholm University (Sweden), was held over three days from November 22 to 24, 2012.
