University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

From August 20-22, 2025, the International Conference on Information Science, Library and Publishing - ICLISSP2025 was held at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), Quy Nhon (Gia Lai). The event brought together over 150 delegates, including scientists, policymakers, managers, researchers, and postgraduate students from 11 countries and territories. The Vietnam University of Social Sciences and Humanities provided AI training for librarians at this conference.

On August 12, 2025, scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) met and worked with Professor Pietro Masina, Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of East Asian Studies (EJEAS).

This was the content presented at the scientific seminar themed "Dong Son Culture in Cao Bang: From New Archaeological Discoveries - Unleashing Historical Values, Fostering a Journey of Happiness for Humanity," organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province, on the morning of August 11, 2025, in Cao Bang.

This was the central theme agreed upon at the working meeting between the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Ho Chi Minh City today, August 6, 2025.

In accordance with the program of cooperation with the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is organizing a scientific conference with the theme: “Buddhism and the Vietnamese Revolution”. The findings of the National Report on Administrative Reform in Vietnam were presented and discussed at the press conference held this afternoon, July 24, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The workshop was jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Ho Chi Minh City; and FSI Investment, Trade and Technology Development Joint Stock Company on July 31, 2025.

This was the topic discussed at the scientific seminar on the theme "Building an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Competency Framework for Students," jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (USSH) and META Corporation this morning, July 23, 2025.

Recently, the Chairman of the State Council of Professors, Nguyen Kim Son, signed Decision No. 22/QD-HDGSNN on the appointment of Vice-Chairmen and Secretaries of 28 Councils of Professors in specific and interdisciplinary fields (hereinafter referred to as Councils) for the year 2025.

On June 10th, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will welcome Mr. Hamaya Kenichi, representative of the Sumitomo Foundation, to introduce and promote the Japan-Related Research Grant Program for fiscal year 2025.

On May 23, 2025, in a solemn, warm, and heartfelt atmosphere, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was honored and proud to host a ceremony celebrating the 90th birthday and the "Honorary Lecture," launching the new publication "The Teacher and His Books" by Professor, People's Teacher Ha Minh Duc - one of the leading figures in Vietnamese social sciences and humanities, an exemplary teacher, a dedicated educator, and a great scholar with profound influence on the academic and cultural life of the country.

The workshop was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with Dau Pagoda (Thanh Dao Temple) on April 19, 2025.

This issue was discussed at a scientific and practical workshop organized by the Institute of Policy and Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with VNFund, MCG Company, Vietnam Women's Newspaper, and various businesses on the afternoon of March 27, 2025. The workshop attracted the participation of scientists from universities and research institutes, as well as managers from numerous businesses.
