The working session between the Central Theoretical Council and Hanoi National University on providing feedback on the draft Political Theory Scientific Research Program for the period 2026-2030 (KX.04/26-30) was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on October 20, 2025.

New research findings and important recommendations were shared and discussed at an international workshop jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stifung Institute (KAS) on October 22, 2025.

This is the content of the international scientific conference on the theme "Contemporary Issues in Tourism Research" organized by the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi today, October 17, 2025, with the participation of numerous scientists, diplomats, organizations, and businesses from both within and outside the country.

From October 10-11, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the training course "Application of AI in Scientific Research: From Idea to International Journal" attracted a large number of lecturers and researchers from the University.

The Advisory Council on Humanities for Higher Education Levels (Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture and Other fields) held an in-depth seminar on October 9, 2025, to gather feedback on the standards for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in the Humanities (Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture and Other fields).

In implementation of the 2025 Training and Development Plan, and to enhance the scientific research capacity and international publications of faculty members, especially in the context of Hanoi National University's regulation that each faculty member must have at least one international publication listed in the ISI/Scopus database within two years of employment, the University is organizing a training course on "Applications of AI in Scientific Research: From Idea to International Journal" with the following specific contents:

On September 27, 2025, the Faculty of Linguistics, Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies organized an academic seminar on the topic "The Issue of Chinese Language in Vietnamese Language Research". This was one of the practical activities aimed at commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Literature (1945 – 2025), the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1995 – 2025), and the 100th anniversary of the birth of scholar Phan Ngoc – the first Head of the Linguistics Group of Hanoi University.

In accordance with the collaborative program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, Hung Vuong University plans to organize a national scientific conference with the theme: “Connecting and promoting the cultural values ​​and resources of Phu Tho province to serve tourism and socio-economic development in the new era”.

Within the framework of the scientific task "Research and promotion of human values ​​and resources in the Red River Delta region to serve national development in the new period," on September 20, 2025, the project team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized a workshop with the participation of many reputable scientists in various fields.

On the morning of September 12, 2025, the Advisory Council for the Humanities at all levels of higher education (Vietnamese Language, Literature and Culture group and Other groups) held a working session to finalize the standards for training programs in the Humanities field.

The research results were published by scientists on August 31, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, during the launch ceremony of the book series "Research on National Sovereignty and Territory in the Direction of a Holistic and Comprehensive Approach to Vietnamese History," attracting the attention of agencies, organizations, and scientists.

A scientific conference on the theme "The Role of Scientific and Technological Information in Socio-Economic Development" was held at the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City on August 29, 2025, with the participation of nearly 500 delegates including leaders, scientists, experts, businesses, and students, aiming to clarify the strategic role of scientific and technological information in the digital age and artificial intelligence.

The seminar, organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) on ​​August 28, 2025, received many contributions from managers and scientists from universities nationwide.
