Recently, the Chairman of the State Council of Professors, Nguyen Kim Son, signed Decision No. 22/QD-HDGSNN on the appointment of Vice-Chairmen and Secretaries of 28 Councils of Professors in specific and interdisciplinary fields (hereinafter referred to as Councils) for the year 2025.

On June 10th, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will welcome Mr. Hamaya Kenichi, representative of the Sumitomo Foundation, to introduce and promote the Japan-Related Research Grant Program for fiscal year 2025.

On May 23, 2025, in a solemn, warm, and heartfelt atmosphere, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was honored and proud to host a ceremony celebrating the 90th birthday and the "Honorary Lecture," launching the new publication "The Teacher and His Books" by Professor, People's Teacher Ha Minh Duc - one of the leading figures in Vietnamese social sciences and humanities, an exemplary teacher, a dedicated educator, and a great scholar with profound influence on the academic and cultural life of the country.

The workshop was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with Dau Pagoda (Thanh Dao Temple) on April 19, 2025.

This issue was discussed at a scientific and practical workshop organized by the Institute of Policy and Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with VNFund, MCG Company, Vietnam Women's Newspaper, and various businesses on the afternoon of March 27, 2025. The workshop attracted the participation of scientists from universities and research institutes, as well as managers from numerous businesses.

The workshop will be held from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.

This policy was announced by the university leadership at the 2025 Scientific Work Conference of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), held on the morning of March 24, 2025, with the participation of leaders from faculties/institutes and functional departments.

This is the content of the scientific conference themed “New Context, Influencing Factors, Requirements, Perspectives and Solutions for Continuing Research, Application and Creative Development of Ho Chi Minh Thought in Science and Technology Development and Innovation until 2030, Vision to 2045” held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi on the morning of March 12, 2025.

This is the content of the scientific seminar program with the theme "Current situation, lessons learned, issues raised, trend forecasts and solution orientations in researching, applying and creatively developing Ho Chi Minh's thought in science and technology development and innovation in Ho Chi Minh City" held on December 21, 2024.

The international scientific conference "Research and Teaching of Vietnamese Studies and the Vietnamese Language in a Cross-Cultural Context," jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, on the morning of December 21, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, attracted the participation of many prestigious scientists from Vietnam and abroad.

This was the content discussed by scientists at the workshop themed "Breakthrough solutions in training, utilizing, and attracting talent to serve the rapid and sustainable development of the country," held this morning, November 26, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

A multifaceted portrait of Nguyen Dinh Thi – an outstanding cultural and artistic leader, a multi-talented artist, and a pioneer of innovation – was reconstructed by scientists at the seminar "Nguyen Dinh Thi - 'The Vastness of the Dawn'," organized by the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, this morning, November 12, 2024.

The feelings of respect and affection from generations of teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were shared at the scientific seminar themed "100th Anniversary of the Birth of Professor, Distinguished Teacher Do Duc Hieu," organized by the Faculty of Literature on September 16, 2024.
