On January 31, 2024, the Institute of Policy and Management (IPAM), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, Federal Republic of Germany had a working session and signed a cooperation agreement to implement the SETY project and other community service projects in the future.

On January 26, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU held a closing ceremony for the short-term course and awarded certificates to students of Nanning Normal University.

On January 24, 2024, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, had a meeting and worked with the delegation of the Institute of Marxism, Guangxi University, China - represented by Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Kien Tan, Vice Rector and members of the delegation.

Dispelling the cold of winter, the space of Hanoi Humanities became warm with tight hugs and warm handshakes from generations of teachers who were former leaders of the school through the periods at the meeting and gratitude of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on the occasion of welcoming the Spring of Giap Thin 2024.

On January 26, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully organized the scientific conference "The spirit of engagement of Vietnamese Buddhist women in the past and present", receiving the attention of many experts, lecturers, researchers and students from universities, research institutes and organizations.

On January 27, the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs (BAOOV) will coordinate with the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Ho Chi Minh City Branch) to organize a seminar on "Positioning Vietnamese Enterprise Brands in Global Media".

This is an initiative under the EU JULE Project between the Center for Applied Research and Development of Social Work (CARDSW), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Justice Innovation Fund (JIFF), reported on January 22, 2024.

On January 18, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), the Faculty of Literature Trade Union in collaboration with the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities Trade Union organized a screening of the film "The Returnee" and a discussion on "Application of multimedia in teaching the new textbook program".

On the afternoon of January 15, 2024, representatives of the Board of Directors and leaders of functional departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a meeting with the Working Group of the Deputy Minister of Europe, introducing the potential and strengths of Hungary and the need for cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the fields of training and scientific research.

On January 13 and 14, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) participated in the 2024 Admissions and Career Counseling Festival in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.
