In the context of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) dramatically changing how people access and share knowledge, the field of Information and Library Science is also undergoing a significant transformation to keep pace with global trends. This is why the Digital Library and Artificial Intelligence specialization was established at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) – a pioneering institution in innovation, creativity, and training high-quality, highly skilled human resources for a knowledge-based society.

Dr. Dang Kim Khanh Ly emphasized that studying Social Work is not just about "doing charity work," but a formal, specialized, humane profession with unique skills and an income commensurate with one's abilities.

According to some universities, the starting salary for social work graduates ranges from 8 to 30 million VND per month, with some earning as much as 40 million VND.

The competition, co-organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) with Fudan University (China) and international organizations, officially opened on June 30, 2025.
