This reality has prompted the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to develop a training program in Religious Studies to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge of Religious Studies, as well as knowledge and skills in religious affairs, to meet societal needs.

On the afternoon of June 25, 2025, the "AVP–USSH Academic Mentoring Reflections" program took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU–USSH). This meaningful activity aimed to summarize, share, and draw lessons from the implementation of the academic mentoring program between VNU-USSH lecturers and international volunteers from the Australian Volunteer Program (AVP) – an initiative funded by the Australian Government.

On June 23, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the opening ceremony for its master's and doctoral programs.
