On the evening of December 6, 2013, the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the "Songs Dedicated to Uncle Ho" art performance in 2013, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Government's decree on the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (December 10, 1993 – December 10, 2013).
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities' entry consisted of three performances: "Meeting Point of Dreams" (by the faculty, staff, and students); "The Sound of the Guitar" (duet by Huy Cuong and Bach Hieu); and "Radiant Vietnam" (group singing and dancing).
As a result, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won third place in the group category, the performance "Meeting Point of Dreams" won first place, and the duet "The Sound of the Guitar" won second place.
