At the conference, representatives from the Planning and Finance Department presented a report summarizing the school's financial activities in 2013; the payment situation and some limitations in the settlement of accounts by various units. Following this, the conference heard a report on the draft amendments and additions to some contents of the Internal Expenditure Regulations.
The main points raised revolved around issues related to several procedures, payment processes, and spending mechanisms for teaching and organizing conferences and seminars. Other opinions included suggestions for adjusting and supplementing certain contents in the Internal Spending Regulations, such as: payment for teaching hours, overtime pay; and support for staff members whose articles are published.
Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa, along with representatives from the Planning and Finance Department, acknowledged and addressed the feedback. Concluding the meeting, the Vice Rector emphasized that heads of units and accounting officers should adhere strictly to financial regulations and documents to ensure that the university's and units' financial operations are handled quickly and in accordance with regulations.
