[Photo gallery] Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication opens the 2017 Four-Team Football Tournament

Attending the opening ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication; Ms. Vu Tra My, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication; Mr. Nguyen Cuong Thinh, representative of FCF Plus; representatives of the organizing committee, the referee team, and a large number of players and supporters of the teams participating in the 2017 Four-Team Cup.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication, delivered a speech at the Opening Ceremony.

With the goal of promoting healthy sports activities and fostering camaraderie among different cohorts within the faculty, as well as creating a platform for practicing professional skills in Broadcasting and Communication, the Faculty's Student Union and Student Association have annually organized the Four-Team Football Tournament. In 2017, marking its sixth year, the tournament brought together four teams from four cohorts: K58, K59, K60, and K61, along with the participation of eight alumni from the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, urged: "We hope that all players will compete wholeheartedly in the spirit of fair play to affirm the brand and prestige of the Journalism and Communication Faculty's football tournament."

Faculty members from the department took a commemorative photo with the football teams.

Following the opening ceremony, the fans continued with the qualifying round matches in a round-robin format. Matches at the 2017 Four-Team Cup will be held continuously every Sunday morning from March 12th to April 2nd, 2017, at the C500 Stadium of the People's Security Academy.

The welcoming performances came from the Peace Crew and the school's Rumbo cheerleading team.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau, Secretary of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication's Student Union, delivered the opening speech for the tournament and presented flowers and commemorative flags to the participating teams.

The organizers received the trophy back from the representative of the reigning champion from the previous season.
