[Photo series] Faculty of Information and Communications opens the 2017 Four-Hero Cup football tournament

Attending the opening ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication; MSc. Vu Tra My, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication; MSc. Nguyen Dinh Hau, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication; Mr. Nguyen Cuong Thinh, representative of FCF Plus; representatives of the organizing committee, the referee team and many players and fans of the teams participating in the Four Heroes Cup 2017.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, spoke at the Opening Ceremony.

With the aim of promoting healthy sports movement as well as connecting courses in the faculty, at the same time creating a playground to practice professional skills in the field of Information and Communications, the Faculty of Information and Communications's Youth Union has annually organized the Four-Hero Cup football tournament. In 2017, entering its 6th year, the first tournament gathered 4 football teams belonging to 4 courses: K58, K59, K60, K61 and the participation of 8 alumni of the Faculty of Information and Communications.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication said: "I hope that all players will compete with all their might in the spirit of fair play to affirm the brand and reputation of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication football tournament."

After the opening ceremony, the fans continued the qualifying round matches in the form of a round robin. The matches at the 2017 Four Heroes Cup will be continuously held every Sunday morning from March 12 to April 2, 2017 at the C500 Stadium of the People's Security Academy.

MSc. Nguyen Dinh Hau, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, delivered the opening speech of the tournament and presented flowers and souvenir flags to the participating teams.

The organizers received the cup back from the representative of the defending champion of last season.
