At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mitsuaki Endo, on behalf of the Asian Geolinguistics Association, expressed his thanks for the warm welcome of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and expressed his desire to cooperate with the University in joint research activities. In particular, the Association wishes to organize the 5th International Conference on Asian Geolinguistics at the University in 2020. To open the day, Prof. Dr. Mitsuaki Endo gave a presentation on the topic "Some issues of Asian Geolinguistics" to the staff, lecturers and students of the University's Linguistics Department.
Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated the idea of organizing the conference of the Asian Geographical Linguistics Association. This will be a good opportunity for the staff, lecturers and students of the School to expand their professional knowledge, as well as to contact scholars and scientists at home and abroad. On behalf of the School, the Principal committed to creating the best conditions for the conference to be successfully organized. At the same time, the presentations and reports at the conference will be a supplementary source for works published in international journals. This is very consistent with the orientation of internationalization and international integration that the School has set.

Previously, the Asian Geolinguistics Association organized 3 conferences on Asian geolinguistics in Southeast Asian countries; of which the 3rd conference on May 23-24, 2016 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia had the participation of Prof. Dr. Tran Tri Doi and Dr. Tran Thi Hong Hanh from Vietnam. The 4th conference in 2018 will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
