Coming to this year's exhibition, students will have the opportunity to learn about universities in Taiwan through 28 booths from many major universities such as: Tsinghua University, Dai Nam University, Wen Tao University of Foreign Languages, National Taipei University, etc. Coming to each booth, you will be supported with admissions and study abroad consulting as well as meet and exchange with representatives from Taiwan. Thereby, students will have a more general view of studying abroad in Taiwan. Issues about tuition fees, travel, and accommodation in Taiwan will also be thoroughly answered by school representatives.
In particular, each university participating this year offers attractive scholarship opportunities, creating conditions for students to have the opportunity to study abroad at major universities with reasonable tuition and living expenses. A series of scholarship opportunities have been opened for students attending the exhibition such as: 50-100% tuition exemption in the first year, English and Chinese language scholarship support, 100% tuition exemption for international students with excellent achievements, etc.
Students were excited to ask questions and interact with the Organizing Committee through entertaining games.
Studying abroad in Taiwan is increasingly being chosen by many parents and students. Because, although studying in an international-class environment, the cost of studying in Taiwan is much lower than studying at a university in Europe. Moreover, Taiwan has a culture quite similar to Vietnam, so international students will easily accept and integrate when studying there, avoiding culture shock. In particular, from September 1, 2016, Taiwan has decided to exempt visas for 30 days for eligible Vietnamese citizens. Therefore, parents of international students can easily travel to Taiwan to visit their children without worrying about travel expenses. Grasping these outstanding advantages, the Taiwan University Education Exhibition has successfully shortened the dream of studying abroad for many students in Vietnam.
The exhibition attracted nearly 1,000 parents, students and pupils from Hanoi and neighboring provinces. In addition to providing useful information about studying abroad, the exhibition also had entertaining games and lucky draws for those who came to participate to take home gifts.
The exhibition is a bridge for the relationship between Vietnam and Taiwan, at the same time promoting cooperation between the two countries in education to contribute to bringing Vietnamese students to access advanced education in the world.
