Opportunities for cooperation with Guangxi Normal University

On the afternoon of November 17th, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Rector of the University - held a meeting and discussion with Professor Hoang Thieu Cam - Vice Rector of Guangxi Normal University (China) - regarding opportunities for cooperation in training between the two universities. Also present at the meeting was Professor Nguyen Van Hiep - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Linguistics.
On the afternoon of November 17th, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Rector of the University - held a meeting and discussion with Professor Hoang Thieu Cam - Vice Rector of Guangxi Normal University (China) - regarding opportunities for cooperation in training between the two universities. Also present at the meeting was Professor Nguyen Van Hiep - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Linguistics.During the meeting, the two Vice Rectors focused on discussing the majors, programs, and training methods that the two sides will cooperate on in the future. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son affirmed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a reliable institution for international training cooperation. Currently, the university has close cooperative relationships with many universities in China in general and Guangxi in particular. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son stated that the two universities share many similar fields of study such as Chinese language, literature, and management, so implementing cooperative training programs is advantageous and will soon be realized. Professor Hoang Thieu Cam also expressed his desire for the cooperative relationship and cultural exchange between the two universities to be implemented soon. She stated that Guangxi Normal University currently has 16 departments offering 45 undergraduate majors and 31 master's degree majors in various fields such as Chinese language, education, philosophy, law, and business administration. The university has established cooperative relationships with over 10 universities in the United States, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Vietnam, the university has primarily collaborated on language and management training with Thai Nguyen University of Education, Hue University of Foreign Languages, and the University of Foreign Trade. It is understood that the two universities will soon sign a framework agreement on training cooperation.
