On the morning of November 27, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (1990 - 2010), marking twenty years of development and opening a new era: development and international integration.The ceremony was attended by many distinguished guests, such as Dr. Nguyen The Ki (Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department); journalist Hoang Huu Luong (Director of the Press Department - Ministry of Information and Communications); Dr. Pham Tat Thang (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine); MSc. Doan Thi Thuan (Deputy Head of the Press - Publishing Department, Central Propaganda Department); Dr. Tran Ba Dung, Deputy Head of the Professional Affairs Department, Vietnam Journalists Association. On the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, attending the rally were Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Rector of the University); Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang (former Rector of the University) and the entire Board of Directors, leaders of departments, representatives of the heads of faculties and departments under the University. The hall of the ceremony happily welcomed the presence of Professor Ha Minh Duc (former Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communications). There were also representatives of training centers associated with the Faculty, press agencies, the Faculty Board, teachers and generations of students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication...
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Van Huong (Dean of the Faculty) expressed his sincere thanks to the delegates, agencies and individuals who attended the ceremony in person as well as sent congratulatory messages and flowers to the traditional day of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. The Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty also emphasized: With the youthfulness of the twenties, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication will be even more successful! On the occasion of the Faculty's 20th anniversary, the Director of Hanoi National University also awarded a certificate of merit and praised the achievements that the Faculty has achieved in the past. Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the school's leaders, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Rector of the School) congratulated the Faculty of Journalism and Communication on its 20th anniversary and gave guidance on the specific directions and tasks of training, research and expanding cooperation that the Faculty of Journalism and Communication needs to carry out in the coming time.
After the speech and sharing of thoughts by Dr. Nguyen The Ki, Professor Ha Minh Duc also gave thoughtful instructions to the lecturers and generations of students in the faculty. At the end of the ceremony, on behalf of the students who have studied and are studying at the faculty, former student - journalist Dong Manh Hung (Voice of Vietnam) sent his sincere thanks to the teachers in the Board of Directors and lecturers in the faculty. On this occasion, former student Dong Manh Hung also shared his experiences and expressed his desire to help the next generations of students.
