On November 24, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) signed a cooperation agreement with Shih Hsin University (Taiwan).
On November 24, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) signed a cooperation agreement with Shih Hsin University (Taiwan).The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu – Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and the Faculty of Sociology. Representing The Tan University were Prof. Du Chi Luc – Vice Rector, and representatives from several affiliated academies, faculties, and departments. The cooperation agreement between the two universities covers five main areas: - Exchange of scientific materials: textbooks, monographs, periodicals, and other publications; - Exchange of scientists and staff; - Exchange of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students; - Cooperation in scientific research; - Joint organization of training programs, seminars, and scientific surveys. In addition, at the signing ceremony, both sides focused on exchanging and discussing several training fields where future cooperation opportunities may arise, such as Journalism and Communication, Public Administration, Chinese Studies, and Japanese Studies. Research projects on social issues, especially migration, were also of interest to both sides and were discussed extensively. At the end of the ceremony, representatives from both sides agreed, affirming the many similarities between the two universities and expressing hope that the cooperative relationship would be further expanded in the near future.
