Letter from the President of VNU on the occasion of the New Year of the Monkey 2016

Over the past year, with solidarity, unanimity, overcoming difficulties and challenges, seizing opportunities, closely following the Resolutions of the Central Committee, the Action Program of the Government on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, development of science and technology, VNU has concretized with practical and effective actions, thereby achieving many important achievements in all aspects of work, contributing to affirming its position, worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party, State and People.

2016 is the first year that VNU implements the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 5th National Party Congress. VNU identifies the key task as continuing to improve the quality and efficiency of all aspects of its activities, especially in training and scientific research, creating the premise to soon become a research-oriented university, maintaining the leading position among higher education institutions in Vietnam and having a high ranking in international rankings. The task is extremely heavy, I hope and believe that all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and students of VNU will always join hands, be united, creative and innovative, together successfully implementing the set goals and tasks.
