The exchange program aimed to help journalism and communication students gain a better understanding of professional communication work in a large state-owned enterprise, as well as to create opportunities for final-year students to find job opportunities for themselves.
Many questions, reflecting the concerns and anxieties of students regarding improving their professional skills as they approach graduation, as well as their desire to secure a desirable job after graduation, were posed to the guest speakers.
Representatives from the Communications Department of Viettel Military Telecommunications Group, as well as faculty members from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, helped answer students' questions and offered interesting suggestions to help them better understand their future careers.
Beyond sharing professional skills and job opportunities after graduation, the representatives from Viettel Military Telecommunications Group also advised journalism students to identify their strengths and unique selling points to be competitive in their future careers, and to invest in additional skills necessary for their work.
Representatives from the Communications Department of Viettel Military Telecommunications Group hope that more and more students from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will have the opportunity to work and contribute at the group.
Dr. Bui Chi Trung, on behalf of the faculty and students of the department, thanked the representatives from the Communications Department of Viettel Military Telecommunications Group for taking the time to share their insights with the students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. He also expressed hope that in the future, the Faculty will be able to organize more exchange sessions between the Faculty and representatives of the group. He believes the Faculty will be a reliable source of high-quality human resources, contributing to the development not only of the Communications Department but also of many other sectors and fields within the group.
