The tournament features 17 participating teams divided into 4 groups, with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities team in Group C along with 3 other teams: the University of Economics, the Faculty of Law, and the combined team of 3 (comprising the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Business Administration).

The men's football team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the tournament with 15 athletes who are staff members from various departments and faculties. With a fairly balanced squad across all positions, after the first two matches, the University team successively defeated the Joint Team 3 with a score of 3-1 and the Law Faculty team with a score of 2-1, securing 6 points and leading Group C, thus guaranteeing a place in the quarterfinals. Of the team's 5 goals, player Nguyen Van Thuy contributed to 4 and is currently leading the list of top scorers in the tournament.
In the final match of Group C, the University's staff men's football team will face the University of Economics team to determine the top spot. A draw would be enough for our team to finish first in Group C and await their quarter-final opponent, either the National University Administration or the University of Foreign Languages.

The match will take place at 4:00 PM on Friday (October 26th) at the football field of the Vietnam National University Sports Complex (Cau Giay District).
To help the team perform better in this year's tournament, we sincerely hope to receive encouragement and support from our teachers and fellow students. Full updates about the team are available on our fanpage at: https://www.facebook.com/pg/vnuusshfootballteam/posts/?ref=page_internal
