In addition, the Faculty prepared small, lovely gifts and provided a free lunch for all 99 new students.

Immediately following the opening ceremony, under the direction of Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh (Deputy Head of the Faculty in charge of the Bachelor of Vietnamese Studies program), the Faculty organized an Orientation session to help new students quickly determine the right direction for their four years of study and research at the Faculty. With this goal in mind, the speakers at the Orientation session presented issues of interest to all students.

First, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh gave an overview of the training program and academic matters. Following that, Dr. Dang Hoang Giang shared four basic strategies that students need to implement to best prepare for graduation.
