The delegation from Taiwanese universities included representatives from six institutions: National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National National Cheng Kung University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Cheng Kung University. Professor Cheng-Chih Wu (President of National Taiwan Normal University) led the delegation.

Introducing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Pham Quang Minh shared information about the 24 undergraduate and 72 postgraduate programs offered at the university. Among its more than 300 international partners, the university has established cooperative relationships with many major universities in Taiwan, such as Kaohsiung University, Wenzao University of Foreign Studies, and Tung Hwa University. Responsible for research and teaching on China in general and Taiwan in particular, the university has two units: the Department of Chinese Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Center for Chinese Studies. The university also has a Taiwan Education Center that promotes exchange and cooperation programs with Taiwanese partners. Annually, the Center organizes a Taiwan Education Exhibition to introduce study opportunities in Taiwan to young Vietnamese people. Professor Cheng-Chih Wu stated: The Taiwanese government has implemented policies requiring Taiwanese universities to engage in cooperation with universities in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam. Taiwan and Vietnam share cultural and historical similarities, thus offering many advantages for building cooperative relationships, especially in the field of higher education.

Representatives from both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Taiwanese universities, including student exchange, the development of short-term and long-term joint training programs, the publication of scientific publications, and the exchange of experiences in establishing internationally recognized scientific journals. Research topics of mutual interest included: the challenges facing higher education in the 21st century, the relationship between Taiwan (China) and Southeast Asian countries, the internationalization of university activities, and research on the Vietnamese community in Taiwan.
