During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation activities within the framework of Vietnam-Hungary cooperation in recent years. Associate Professor Tran Viet Nghia shared the achievements of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as well as the challenges and opportunities the University faces in the current context of internationalization. Professor Gabor Vargyas highly appreciated the University's achievements as a leading training center in Vietnam for social sciences and humanities. He pledged to give maximum attention, both materially and spiritually, to the development and internationalization goals of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Professor Gabor Vargyas is a renowned scientist in Europe with in-depth research on ethnic minorities in Vietnam. He is fluent in English, French, German, and Bru. Along with Professor George Condominas (France), he is one of two outstanding field anthropologists who have conducted extensive fieldwork for many years in the Truong Son Mountains and Central Highlands. Hundreds of his scientific works have been published in English, German, French, and Hungarian over the past 30 years.
