The exchange aimed to introduce information about the Malaysian education system and study opportunities for international students.
On the morning of October 19, 2009, a delegation from the Malaysian Education Promotion Center under the Malaysian Consulate in Vietnam, led by Mr. Helmy Sulaiman - Education Attaché - visited and held an information exchange with students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The exchange aimed to introduce information about the Malaysian education system and study opportunities for international students.

Photo: NA" align="right" width="240"/>The main topics presented by the Malaysian delegation included: general characteristics of the Malaysian education system; opportunities to study at higher education institutions in Malaysia; tuition and living costs in Malaysia; entry and enrollment procedures for international students; and the diversity of study programs in Malaysia. During this exchange, students also had the opportunity to directly learn about and interview representatives from several Malaysian universities such as the University of Malaya, the University of Teknologi, Tunku Abdul Rahman University, and Saito College.
In recent years, Malaysia's international education sector has made remarkable progress. Currently, the country welcomes over 50,000 international students from more than 100 countries. Higher education opportunities in Malaysia are provided by 20 public higher education institutions, 24 polytechnics, 37 community colleges, 36 private universities, 4 branches of prestigious foreign universities, over 500 private colleges, as well as other higher education institutions from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and New Zealand that are affiliated with local universities and colleges.

Malaysia's goal in international education is to provide students with an ideal learning environment offering high-quality education, internationally recognized degrees, diverse fields of study, and very competitive costs compared to other countries. In particular, joint programs with renowned universities in the UK, Australia, the US, France, etc., implemented in Malaysia over the years have been chosen by many international students seeking to obtain an internationally recognized bachelor's degree at an affordable cost.
