This morning, October 9, 2009, the award ceremony of the 4th Korean Literature Writing Contest took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The Organizing Committee received 94 entries, including 85 from students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 02 from students of Hanoi University and 07 from students of the University of Foreign Languages, VNU. There were 13 entries awarded this time.

The first prize is worth 9,000,000 VND, the second prize is worth 4,500,000 VND, the third prize is worth 1,700,000 VND, and the consolation prize is worth 500,000 VND.
The contest is organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies in collaboration with the Institute of Literature Translation - Ministry of Culture and Information of Korea. Participants are students and graduate students studying at 03 schools: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Hanoi University. The contest was launched in June 2009 and was judged from September 15 to 25, 2009. This year's theme is: Write a review of the short story collection "Kim Dong In Short Stories" by author Kim Dong In.
The first prize winning essay by student Vu Thi Xuan Quynh will be submitted to the international round of the 2009 Korean Literature Review Writing Contest. This round is for the best essays from 13 countries around the world.
