During the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed the activities of the Reader Services Room at Building M, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Professor Pham Quang Minh noted that the Information-Library Center of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has made many efforts in improving the spirit of serving readers; is ready to cooperate with functional departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to check and review book and document titles; expand the number of existing materials; and increase the number of students and trainees visiting and directly researching.
However, the Rector also offered several suggestions and recommendations to further improve the quality of the Center's operations. These include upgrading facilities, especially the air conditioning system and wireless internet; diversifying and classifying materials by specific fields and specialties; creating flexibility in using various types of identification documents for document retrieval; and strengthening communication, promotion, and introduction of the Information-Library Center and the Reader Services Department.

According to Professor Pham Quang Minh, the most important thing is to create a friendly and welcoming environment so that readers feel comfortable and at ease when visiting the library. The center can also learn from the experiences and models of other large libraries such as the National Library of Vietnam. The suggestions were received frankly and openly.
