Meeting and working with the Algerian Ambassador to Vietnam.

The meeting aimed to discuss the program commemorating the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Algeria, jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Algerian Embassy in Vietnam, and the Vietnam-Algeria Friendship Association. The event is scheduled to take place on October 30, 2017, with the participation of representatives from several Vietnamese government agencies; officials from the Algerian Embassy and other embassies; and 150 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, including 50 international students. The event will consist of two parts: (i) a screening of the film "Lotus Flower" in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E; and (ii) an exhibition of photographs showcasing the Vietnam-Algeria friendship in the lobby on the 1st floor of building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Media outlets interested in this topic will also report on the event. On behalf of the University, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratitude to the Algerian Embassy in Vietnam for the idea of ​​organizing the event. The Rector pledged that the University would do its utmost to ensure the success of the program and select outstanding students to participate. This activity is not only significant for Vietnam-Algeria relations in general but also helps students, lecturers, and staff of the University to better understand and contribute to the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Recently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has organized activities to strengthen diplomatic relations between Vietnam and partner countries. Most recently, the University collaborated with the National Peace Memorial Museum for Victims of the Nagasaki Atomic Bombing (Japan) to organize the photo exhibition "From Ruin to Rebirth" from September 25 to November 5, 2017.
