From May 8th to 12th, 2011, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led by Rector Professor Nguyen Van Khanh, visited and worked in China at the invitation of the leaders of Guilin University of Science and Technology and Hainan University.

The principal visits and works with Chinese partners.
From May 8th to 12th, 2011, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led by Rector Professor Nguyen Van Khanh, visited and worked in China at the invitation of the leaders of Guilin University of Science and Technology and Hainan University.

The delegation visited and worked with the branch campus of Guilin University of Science and Technology and Electronics, Beihai Institute of Technology (Beihai City, Guangxi Province), from May 8th to 10th. During the meeting with representatives from Guilin University of Science and Technology and Electronics, both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and desired areas for future cooperation, such as: establishing a Vietnamese language center at Beihai Institute of Technology, cooperating in tourism management training, and accepting students from the Institute to study Vietnamese at Beihai Institute of Technology through short-term and long-term programs. Professor Nguyen Van Khanh also committed to sending Vietnamese language teachers to teach at Beihai Institute of Technology. From May 10th to 12th, the delegation continued its visit to Hainan University in Hainan Province at the invitation of Vice President Fu Guohua. During the meeting, both sides agreed to establish a bilateral exchange and cooperation relationship and open up avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration. The leaders of the two universities also discussed opening the first Vietnamese Language Center in Hainan Province, China, and exchanged ideas and experiences on university administration, student exchange programs, and joint training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
