On the evening of May 25, 2011, at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural Center, the final round of the "Golden Microphone 2011" presenter competition was held, organized by the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.The competition attracted considerable interest from teachers and students both inside and outside the university. The judging panel for this year's final round included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Thai, MSc. Trinh Le Anh, MC Hoa Thanh Tung, Lecturer Ta Bich Ngoc, and Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan.

The eight finalists were all outstanding individuals with the talent and potential to become professional MCs. With a wide variety of topics and scenarios presented in the first two rounds – solo and duo hosting – the contestants showcased their unique styles and ability to collaborate with their partners. Following the solo and duo hosting rounds, the four most outstanding contestants were selected by the judges to advance to the third round with the theme "Reunion." This was a particularly exciting part of the competition. The four contestants formed a group and presented the audience with a memorable and emotional reunion of MCs who had graduated from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the 2007 and 2011 Golden Microphone MCs. The performances by the Sol Club, along with the enthusiastic cheers of the audience, created a vibrant atmosphere for the final night.

After three rounds of competition, convincing the judging panel and the audience with her confidence, skill, and quick wit, Van Thi Quynh Nhung – K53 Social Work – excellently won the Golden Microphone 2011 title. The remaining awards were:
- Silver Microphone: Bui Thi Thao Trinh – K53 Information – Library Science
- Mic Dong: + Chu My Lan – K54 Journalism – Communication + Nguyen Trong Khuong – K54 Management Science
- Charming MC: Pham Thi Linh Chi – K54 International Studies
- Creative MC: Dao Mai Quyen – K54 Journalism – Communication
- Friendly MC: Bui Thi Thao Trinh – K53 Information and Library Science
- Energetic MC: Luu Thi Thu Trang – K54 Anthropology

First organized in 2007, "Golden Microphone" is a competition to find promising MCs to serve the Youth Union and Student Association activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The success of Golden Microphone 2011 shows that this is a valuable platform for students to practice and gain experience on their path to fulfilling their dream of becoming an MC.
