On May 23rd, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Rector of the University - met and worked with Mr. Shin Hyun Myung - Principal of the Korean School in Hanoi. During the meeting, the leaders of both sides discussed establishing a cooperative relationship between the two schools and signing a cooperation agreement. The main content of the cooperation between the two universities is as follows: Both sides agree to base their agreement on the Vietnamese language learning needs of students from the Korean University. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will send teachers to teach Vietnamese according to the requirements of the Korean University. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will also send lecturers to teach and organize lectures on topics related to Vietnamese culture for students at the Korean University, according to the specific requests of the Korean University. In addition, both sides agree that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will periodically (or irregularly) organize Vietnamese language proficiency certification exams for students who need them. The cooperation agreement has a term of 5 years. The Korean University was established in Vietnam in 2006 and currently has over 400 students. Currently, there are 30 Korean schools in different countries around the world. In Vietnam alone, there are two Korean schools: the Korean School in Hanoi and the Korean School in Ho Chi Minh City.
