From early morning on May 22, 2011, sharing in the enthusiastic atmosphere with voters nationwide casting their ballots to elect representatives to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, students and trainees of the University were present in large numbers at the polling station, room 102, building G - University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

From early morning on May 22, 2011, sharing in the enthusiastic atmosphere with voters nationwide casting their ballots to elect representatives to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, students and trainees of the University were present in large numbers at the polling station, room 102, building G - University of Social Sciences and Humanities.At 6:45 AM, the opening ceremony was held solemnly in the courtyard of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with the participation of a large number of voters. At 7:00 AM, students of the University exercised their rights and civic duties, wisely choosing those with sufficient talent and virtue to elect to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

Sharing her feelings about holding a ballot for the first time, student Dang Thi Thuy (K55 – Faculty of Management Science) said: "I am very happy and excited to cast my vote for the first time, exercising my right and civic duty. Before voting, I carefully researched information about the candidates to choose wise representatives for the people. I hope that the country will have a team of excellent leaders who will implement more policies that care more about students and create better learning conditions for them." Although it wasn't her first time, the excitement, meaning, honor, and pride of holding a ballot for the first time remained intact, said Nguyen Thanh Khanh (K52 – Journalism and Communication): "This is the second time I've had the honor of voting, and it's the first time I've felt honored and proud to participate in this national event." And like millions of other voters, I also hope that through impartial ballots, the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels will elect the most outstanding and responsible representatives… According to statistics from the polling station of Unit No. 10 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as of 3 PM on May 22nd, approximately 2,650 voters had cast their ballots for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. The total number of voters in polling station No. 10 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is 2,874.

Speaking on behalf of the election committee, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Student Affairs and Activities Department) stated: The security, order, and safety of polling station No. 10 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were always well-maintained. The election process was conducted seriously, orderly, and in accordance with the law. In particular, first-year students participating in the election for the first time enthusiastically exercised their right to vote with a high sense of responsibility. Students from several faculties exercised their voting rights very fully and quickly, such as the Philosophy Faculty and the History Faculty. Voting ended at exactly 7 PM, and the vote counting will be held in polling station 102, building G.
