From early morning on May 22, 2011, joining the excited atmosphere with voters nationwide in voting to select delegates to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, students and trainees of the University were present in large numbers at the polling station, room 102, building G - University of Social Sciences and Humanities.At 6:45 a.m. at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the opening ceremony was solemnly held with the participation of a large number of voters. At 7:00 a.m., students of the University exercised their rights and obligations as citizens, wisely choosing talented and virtuous people to elect to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.
Sharing her feelings about holding the ballot in her hand for the first time, student Dang Thi Thuy (K55 - Faculty of Management Science): I am very happy and excited to be able to cast my ballot for the first time to exercise my rights and obligations as a citizen. Before voting, I consulted and carefully studied information about the candidates to choose wise representatives to represent the people. I hope that the country will have a team of excellent leaders who will introduce more policies to care for students, creating conditions for students to study well. Although it is not the first time, the excitement along with the meaning, honor and pride of the first time holding the ballot in hand are still intact, Nguyen Thanh Khanh (K52 - Journalism and Communication) said: This is the second time I have had the honor to vote, as well as the first time I feel honored and proud to participate in the national festival. And like millions of other voters, I also hope that through impartial votes, the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels will choose the most outstanding and responsible representatives... According to statistics from the Election Team No. 10 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as of 3:00 p.m. on May 22, about 2,650 voters went to vote for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. The total number of voters in Election Team No. 10 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is 2,874.
Representative of the election team, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Student Affairs Department) said: The security, order and safety situation of constituency No. 10 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is always well ensured. The election took place seriously, orderly and in accordance with the law. In particular, first-year students participating in the election for the first time enthusiastically carried out their sense of responsibility. And some departments of students exercised their voting rights very fully and quickly such as: Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of History... At exactly 7:00 p.m., the voting time ended and the vote counting will be held at polling station 102, building G.
