The unification in creating work records is considered an important factor in helping to keep information, manage and store records in the functional departments of the University. This work needs even more attention and standardization in the context that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is conducting quality assessment of training programs according to AUN standards and the University strives to become a university that meets regional and international standards in the near future. Based on that requirement, the University's Trade Union organized a training session on "Skills in creating work records and submitting records to the agency's archives" to enhance the skills of managing records and documents for the University's staff and specialists.
The training session consisted of two main contents: drafting administrative documents and establishing and archiving work records. These contents were presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phung in a scientific, specific and easy-to-apply manner in the practical work of specialists. The staff directly asked questions and clarified any difficulties during the discussion. The examples given in the training session were collected by Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phung from the process of surveying the activities of departments in recent times, helping specialists to see the limitations they are facing and overcome them.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phung affirmed that attention should be paid to the issue of record keeping because this is an important part of university administration. The school needs to have a unit in charge of guiding functional departments and faculties to build a record list, organize the collection of work records into the school archive, apply modern technology and deploy electronic archiving.
Speaking at the end of the training session, Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Head of Personnel Organization Department, President of the School's Trade Union) thanked Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Phung for taking the time to share with the school's staff and experts. Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh hopes that after the training session, each expert will have a direction to improve their skills and knowledge to serve their work better and better.
