The seminar was organized by the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Education and Training.

The opening ceremony of the seminar, held on the morning of July 11th, was attended by Assoc. The seminar brought together researchers and lecturers of political theory subjects at universities to gather their feedback on developing curriculum content, textbooks, and innovating teaching methods for political theory subjects in universities.

On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Propaganda Department for entrusting the University with hosting this seminar. This allows the University to demonstrate its role and responsibility as a leading university in social sciences and humanities, contributing to fundamental and comprehensive educational reform, including the modernization and updating of teaching political theory subjects. This is of great importance in the current context because these subjects hold a leading position in terms of ideology, theory, and methodology for social sciences and humanities, and form the basis of the worldview and general methodology in scientific research and the ideology of society. Therefore, the University also invited leading experts in these fields to contribute their opinions to the development of new curricula and textbooks for these subjects.

The seminar will be divided into specific sessions to gather feedback on the curriculum and teaching materials for the following subjects: Marxist-Leninist Philosophy, Ho Chi Minh Thought, Scientific Socialism, and the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
