Workshop plan: “Creating socio-economic activities to serve sustainable local development (CREADEL)”

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Midi-Pyrées region (Republic of France) and the Son La region (Vietnam), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Son La province, Tay Bac University, and the University of Toulouse Le Mirail (Republic of France), organized the international workshop: “Creating socio-economic activities to serve the sustainable development of the locality”.

The workshop will be divided into four subcommittees:

• Subcommittee 1: Economic, Social and Cultural Development Policies of Son La Province
• Subcommittee 2: Planning and Development of the Northwest Region of Vietnam
• Subcommittee 3: Culture, Handicrafts, Agriculture and Sustainable Tourism (CAATOD project)
• Subcommittee 4: Cooperation and Development in Dairy Production (ASODIA)

Scientists, teachers, and individuals interested in this topic are invited to submit papers for the conference.

Deadline for submitting reports:

• Please submit the title and abstract (300 words) of your paper by January 26, 2010.
• Please submit the full report by March 5, 2009.
