The nature and characteristics of Vietnamese intellectual resources

On the morning of December 25, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a scientific workshop was held on "The nature and characteristics of Vietnam's intellectual resources. Building and promoting Vietnam's intellectual resources" (under the topic KX.03.22/06-10).

The workshop was chaired by Associate Professor, Dr. Lam Ba Nam and Dr. Hoang Van Luan.

The 17 reports at the workshop focused on the following key issues:

- Clarifying the characteristics, nature and basic types of Vietnamese intelligence and the development trends of intelligence and intellectual resources in the current period of national industrialization; on that basis, identifying Vietnamese intelligence and factors affecting Vietnamese intelligence;

- Clarifying intellectual resources through research and survey of specific strata such as: intellectual resources through intellectuals, women, and ethnic minorities;

- Experience in promoting intellectual resources of countries around the world, first of all East Asian and Southeast Asian countries, on that basis compare and draw practical lessons in promoting intellectual resources of Vietnam's intellectual resources today;

- Experience in building and promoting Vietnamese intellectual resources in history;

- Advantages and difficulties in building and promoting intellectual resources in our country today.

This is one of the activities of the state-level project "Building and promoting Vietnamese intellectual resources to serve the cause of national revival in the 21st century" chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh.
