The free English conversation course for students has ended.

On May 11, 2018, the last of six classes in the free English course for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities concluded. The course was organized by the Student Counseling and Support Team - CASA.

The final class session included the participation of:Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan(The Vice Principal of the School) andDr. Pham Huy Cuong(Deputy Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs).

Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to the two international volunteers, Katrine and Rebekka. He stated that this English class was a great opportunity for the university's students to improve their English skills. He hoped that after this course, the students would gain more knowledge and skills in the foreign language, and encouraged them to plan to use and practice English daily. He also bid farewell to the two volunteers and wished them much success in their future endeavors.

Dr. Pham Huy Cuong stated that in the near future, the school will organize more foreign language classes for students. He also noted that students who make progress after these foreign language courses can become volunteers for CASA's upcoming activities.

With the aim of supporting students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in improving their foreign language skills, the CASA Advisory and Support Team, in collaboration with the Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS), organized a free English communication course. The course commenced on March 27, 2018, with the support of two volunteers from the CSDS-coordinated International Volunteer Program: Katrine Friis Andersen and Rebekka Boe Hove from Denmark. The course attracted 120 students across 6 classes and lasted for 7 weeks, from March 27 to May 11, 2018.

This course is the first step in collaborative activities between the University and the Center for Sustainable Development Studies Vietnam (CSDS VN). At the same time, the course equips students not only with English language skills but also with essential soft skills for life.
