Pham Duc Thinh(nPolitical ScienceYou must have iron discipline!

In my studies and scientific research, I've only had one experience: know how to set appropriate goals and have an ironclad self-discipline. Setting goals is extremely important for students. For example, if you aim for a high grade this semester, you must set academic tasks, achieve at least B+ grades in all subjects, and determine the right path for yourself. As Zhuge Liang said, it's about identifying the shortest path to success and victory. Not only that, to achieve your goals, you need a high level of discipline, be strict with yourself, and seriously carry out what you set out to do. As my advisor, Professor Tran Bach Hieu, once said: "Be lenient with yourself once, and difficulties will come a hundred times afterward."
The future is always uncertain and unpredictable, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing or where I'll be after graduation in a year. However, my family is currently supporting my pursuit of a master's degree, and I'm gradually completing my application for postgraduate studies. Besides that, with the knowledge of Political Science I've accumulated over my four years of university, I truly aspire to become a young professional, serving in positions related to the country's political work.
Nguyen Phuong Hoa(nLinguisticsFind what you truly love!

I was a math major, not particularly good at social sciences, so I never thought I'd study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. But in the end, I spent four years (actually five, because I was also pursuing a double degree) of my student life here. And that was the best decision I've ever made in my life.
I really admire those who have clearly defined their goals and direction early on and confidently strived to follow their chosen path. I once went through a period of uncertainty about my future, especially after failing the university entrance exam on my first attempt, not getting into the school my family had planned for me. I even attended another school, but I always had doubts and felt it wasn't a good fit.
It took me a year to figure out what I wanted to do. A year that seemed short, but the constant feeling of uncertainty and aimlessness made it feel incredibly long and endless. During that time, I read "I Am a Donkey" by Nguyen Phuong Mai. She had also failed her university entrance exams, but then she found her passion and kept moving forward. That book inspired me greatly. After overcoming that period, I found my place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities like a fish in water. I was able to thrive there, despite many people discouraging me, saying things like, "That other university was so good, why did you leave it? Going to the Faculty of Humanities will only lead to unemployment?", "You studied math for ten years, will you be able to survive in the Faculty of Humanities?"... And in the end, I did survive, and I didn't end up unemployed. I wholeheartedly agree with the saying: "As long as you do what you love, nothing is impossible."
Do Phuong Anh(ncliffLiteratureCLC): I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a learning environment abroad.

Receiving a scholarship and studying abroad for six months in Indonesia was the most memorable experience during my four years of university. I got to meet international friends and had invaluable learning experiences in a foreign environment. Living independently abroad taught me many lessons, despite the many difficulties with the language and the living environment.
After each trip, and after the entire exchange program, I learned how to adapt to a new life, build connections with new friends, and learn how to behave and handle situations in an international environment, which made me much more mature and stronger. Being an exchange student is one of the most memorable opportunities and milestones in my life.
And now, having returned to Vietnam, I once again hope and wish that from now on, you will make the most of your abilities to improve your knowledge and skills so that you are ready to apply for scholarship programs in the coming semesters. Don't waste the opportunity; seize the scholarships and experience the value they bring for yourself.
