First batch of bachelor's degrees awarded to 293 early graduates

Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao (Deputy Head of Training Department, Hanoi National University), Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of the University), Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Principal of the University).

Principal Pham Quang Minh awarded diplomas to 293 new graduates of the QH-2014-X course. Of these, 15 students achieved excellent academic results and 148 students achieved excellent results. Many faculties and majors have a large number of early graduates such as: Faculty of Journalism and Communication (73 students), Faculty of Social Work (53 students), Faculty of Political Science (21 students), Faculty of Oriental Studies (19 students), Faculty of Linguistics (24 students), Faculty of Literature (20 students), Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language (23 students), Faculty of Sociology (24 students), etc.

Among the graduates this time are two international students. Notably, one of the two valedictorians of the school is Kaneko Yukari (Japanese nationality) - a student of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language with a GPA of 3.89.

Rector Pham Quang Minh presented certificates of merit from the Director of VNU to two students with excellent academic results throughout the course, Kaneko Yukari (Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language) and Nguyen Thi Phuong Chung (Faculty of Journalism and Communication). In addition, certificates of merit were also awarded to 9 students with excellent academic achievements and valedictorians of all majors, along with 163 certificates of merit to students with excellent and good academic achievements.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Principal of the School) said that unlike previous years, this is the first time the School has organized a graduation ceremony in early May. This clearly demonstrates the School's innovation in helping students have the opportunity to immediately enter the labor market. He also congratulated the new graduates for their efforts in completing their studies ahead of schedule.

Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan also affirmed that in the coming time, the School will continuously innovate in training quality and promote support activities in student political work with the spirit of: "Innovation, service and quality for the output of students". In particular, innovations in the academic atmosphere, foreign language skills, and practical internships abroad will be increasingly focused on.

Valedictorian Nguyen Thi Phuong Chung, representing the new graduates, spoke, expressing her emotions at the moment of leaving the vibrant student life. It was a time filled with aspiration and love for every lecture hall, every corner of the beloved school. She also sent her gratitude to the teachers for giving the students useful lessons, academic skills and life paths. The representatives of the new graduates also expressed their pride in being a small part of the school with a long history and good traditions and promised to try their best to succeed and bring glory to the beloved school.
