Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao (Deputy Head of the Training Department, Vietnam National University, Hanoi), Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University).
Rector Pham Quang Minh awarded diplomas to 293 new graduates of the QH-2014-X cohort. Among them, 15 students achieved excellent academic results and 148 students achieved good results. Many faculties and departments had a large number of students graduating early, such as: Faculty of Journalism and Communication (73 students), Social Work (53 students), Faculty of Political Science (21 students), Faculty of Oriental Studies (19 students), Faculty of Linguistics (24 students), Faculty of Literature (20 students), Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language (23 students), Faculty of Sociology (24 students), etc.

Among the graduating class are two international students. Notably, one of the top graduates is Kaneko Yukari (Japanese nationality) - a student of the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language - with an academic record of 3.89.
Rector Pham Quang Minh presented certificates of merit from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi to two students with outstanding academic results throughout their course of study: Kaneko Yukari (Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language) and Nguyen Thi Phuong Chung (Faculty of Journalism and Communication). In addition, certificates of merit were also awarded to nine students with outstanding academic achievements and valedictorians graduating from their respective majors, along with 163 certificates of merit for students with excellent and good academic performance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University) said that, unlike previous years, this is the first time the University has organized a graduation ceremony in early May. This clearly demonstrates the University's innovation in helping students have the opportunity to enter the labor market immediately. He also congratulated the new graduates on their efforts and hard work in completing their studies ahead of schedule.
Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also affirmed that in the coming time, the University will continuously innovate in the quality of training and strengthen support activities in student political work with the spirit: "Innovation, service and quality for the output results of students." In particular, innovations in the academic atmosphere, foreign language skills, and practical internships abroad will be increasingly emphasized.

Valedictorian Nguyen Thi Phuong Chung, representing the graduating class, delivered a speech expressing her emotion at the moment of leaving behind her vibrant student life. It was a time filled with aspirations and love for every lecture hall and every corner of her beloved university. She also expressed her gratitude to the teachers for imparting valuable lessons, academic skills, and life lessons to the students. The graduating class representative also expressed pride in being a small part of the university with its rich history and fine traditions, and promised to do their best to succeed and bring honor to their beloved institution.
