During the meeting, Dr. Kim Chonghee introduced Sangmyung University – one of the top-ranked universities in South Korea. She expressed her desire to strengthen cultural exchange; to open joint training programs and student/scholar exchanges between the two universities, especially between the Family Welfare and Korean Language Education departments of Sangmyung University and the Sociology and Social Work departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She also proposed that the two sides jointly implement a "1+1" master's program in Korean Studies.
On behalf of the School's Board of Directors, Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa agreed with the above proposals and expressed her hope that the two sides could soon sign a cooperation agreement. At the same time, the Vice Rector also hoped that the two sides could cooperate in organizing international conferences in the future.
