Opening Ceremony of the 10th Korean Language Course for Samsung Electronics Employees

Following the success of previous courses, on the morning of September 24, 2018, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the opening ceremony for the Korean language course for outstanding employees of Samsung Electronics Thai Nguyen.

Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University), Mr. Bae Il-hwan (Deputy General Director of Administration and Human Resources of SEVT), Mr. Lee Dong-hee (Head of Human Resources of SEVT), along with representatives from the Cooperation and Development Department and representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University.

In his opening remarks, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his pleasure at continuing the cooperation with Samsung, and affirmed that the University and the Faculty of Oriental Studies will always strive for innovation to improve the quality of the courses.

Representing Samsung, Mr. Bae Il-hwan expressed his gratitude to Professor Pham Quang Minh and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He hoped that the University would develop optimal training strategies and continue to be a reliable partner for Samsung. He also hoped that the students would fully utilize their abilities, overcome all difficulties and obstacles, and achieve high results in the upcoming course.

Mr. Bae Il-hwan delivered a speech at the ceremony.

The Korean language course for outstanding employees of Samsung Thai Nguyen will last 13 weeks with nearly 800 lessons. The goal is for students to achieve a TOPIK Korean language proficiency certificate at level 4 or higher.
