In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan thanked the relevant units for choosing the University as a partner to organize this meaningful program for new students at the beginning of the new school year. The speech also mentioned the context of the 4.0 technology revolution and the educational era that pose many challenges for universities when they have to change and adapt to increasingly high standards and rapid changes in the world. Carrying out the mission of training high-quality, highly qualified human resources, the University is currently paying special attention to improving soft skills, supporting and encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship and career building for students.

The series of programs “Welcome new students 2018” is organized at many university clusters in Hanoi. The main purpose of the series of programs is to equip new students with the methods, knowledge, and skills necessary for their time as students.

During the program, students listened and directly asked questions to famous speaker Dr. Le Tham Duong about many practical topics such as: Positioning and self-development; Breakthrough thinking; The art of communication and smart behavior, important attitude or important level...

Within the framework of the program, representatives of Vietnam Student Newspaper awarded 04 scholarships to 04 new students; Arena Multimedia Multimedia Training School awarded 5 scholarships worth 50% of tuition fees for graphic design courses at Arena Multimedia with a total value of 40 million VND to new students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
