Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa stated that, with a rich tradition spanning 70 years, the University always strives to create the best possible conditions in all aspects to support the training and research activities of its staff, lecturers, and students. Utilizing services from external agencies and organizations will contribute to achieving this goal. Therefore, BIDV's contributions to the University over the past time are highly commendable and appreciated. The Vice Rector expressed her delight at the good relationship between BIDV and Vietnam National University, Hanoi in general, and with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, and hoped that after the signing of the cooperation agreement, this relationship would develop in both breadth and depth in the future.
In response, Mr. Lai Tien Quan pledged that BIDV would prioritize serving the school's training and scientific research activities over profit. This commitment was affirmed in the cooperation agreement signed by both parties.

According to the cooperation agreement, BIDV Thanh Xuan Branch will make every effort to provide the banking services requested by the University, including loans, opening deposit accounts, providing ATM cards and other payment cards, money transfers, etc. In addition, BIDV commits to supporting the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with certain funds to support the University's activities such as building and renovating facilities, providing scholarships, scientific research, organizing seminars, ensuring other social welfare conditions, etc. Initially, BIDV will support the University with VND 1,300,000,000 for the period 2015-2019. For its part, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities commits to utilizing BIDV's services such as opening and maintaining VND deposit accounts at BIDV, paying salaries to staff and lecturers through BIDV ATM cards, conducting payment transactions with partners through BIDV's payment system, collaborating on scientific research, organizing seminars, etc.

Regarding the cooperation method, the provision of credit and financial and banking services will be carried out directly between BIDV Thanh Xuan and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities or its staff, lecturers, and students. Both parties will promptly and regularly provide and exchange information on activities related to the Cooperation Agreement, as well as other information regarding the Bank's ability to provide new services.
In principle, both sides commit to closely coordinating the development and implementation of cooperation plans and tasks towards long-term, sustainable development, and to jointly cooperate in carrying out the plans and tasks for each specific stage.
This agreement takes effect from the date of signing and is valid for five academic years (2014-2015 to 2018-2019).
