In Hue, the opening ceremony was held at Hue University of Foreign Languages with the participation of Mr. Tran Quang Hao, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the General Department of Tourism; Mr. Le Huu Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thua Thien Hue; representatives of departments, branches and sectors in the province and nearly 50 students.
In Da Nang, with the support of Da Nang University of Foreign Languages, the opening ceremony was a great success. In addition to the delegation of the General Department of Tourism, there were also leaders of functional departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang such as the Department of Personnel Organization, Department of Travel Management... and more than 50 students from management agencies as well as tourism businesses. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) emphasized the reputation of the University in tourism training, especially tourism foreign languages such as Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian... The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is also the only unit in the country authorized by the General Department of Tourism to organize the examination and grant certificates of foreign language proficiency for international tour guides.
Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh delivered the opening speech of the basic Japanese language training course in Hue.
In Hoi An (Quang Nam), the opening ceremony was held at Phan Chau Trinh University with the participation of more than 40 students. In his welcoming speech, Mr. Ho Tan Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam highly appreciated the quality and responsibility of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in implementing training.
Basic Japanese language training class in Hoi An
The 2015 Basic Japanese Language Training Course is not only limited to state management officials in tourism, but also extends to the workforce from travel agencies, accommodation establishments, and other related service businesses. During the 4-month period, students will be equipped with knowledge and language skills to be able to communicate in basic Japanese, improving the quality of service to the high-spending customer market that has been growing strongly in recent years.
