In Hue, the opening ceremony was held at Hue University of Foreign Languages with the participation of Mr. Tran Quang Hao, Deputy Head of the Personnel and Organization Department of the General Department of Tourism; Mr. Le Huu Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thua Thien Hue; representatives from departments and agencies in the province, along with nearly 50 trainees.
In Da Nang, with the support of the Da Nang University of Foreign Languages, the opening ceremony was successfully held. Besides the delegation from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the ceremony was attended by leaders from various functional departments of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, such as the Personnel and Organization Department and the Travel Management Department, along with over 50 students from management agencies and tourism businesses. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) emphasized the university's reputation in tourism training, especially in tourism-related foreign languages such as Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Indonesian. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is also the only institution nationwide authorized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to conduct foreign language proficiency tests for international tour guides.

In Hoi An (Quang Nam), the opening ceremony was held at Phan Chau Trinh University with the participation of more than 40 students. In his welcoming speech, Mr. Ho Tan Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, highly appreciated the quality and responsibility of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in implementing the training program.

Basic Japanese language training course in Hoi An
The 2015 basic Japanese language training course is not limited to government officials in the tourism sector, but also extends to employees from travel agencies, accommodation establishments, and other related service businesses. Over the course of four months, participants will acquire the knowledge and language skills to communicate at a basic level in Japanese, improving the quality of service to the rapidly growing high-spending tourist market in recent years.
