School leaders meet with outstanding alumni

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of the School) was pleased to welcome the presence of delegates who are outstanding alumni, currently holding various positions in agencies and departments in society. This is an opportunity for the School to receive more contributions from alumni, contributing to improving the quality of training and promoting the image of the School.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh also informed the alumni about some of the achievements that the School has achieved in the past school year.

At the meeting, alumni exchanged many ideas about activities to connect, support, improve training quality, and increase job opportunities for students in the future.

According to Mr. Saadi Salama, Ambassador of Palestine to Vietnam (former student of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language), each alumni should have suggestions and comments for the future development of the University. This contribution can be diverse and rich, depending on the ability of each alumni.

In terms of support, many alumni have suggested: possibly establishing alumni scholarship funds for outstanding students; organizing experience sharing and discussion sessions; supporting and guiding students to internships. This is a useful activity that can be implemented soon.

One issue that alumni mentioned is that career orientation should be implemented early, perhaps for first-year students, so that they can quickly understand their future career. In addition, the school should add activities for students to promote their desire to succeed and affirm their position in work and life. These activities are both relevant to current life and very useful for students when they graduate.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Principal of the School, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the alumni. Based on the proposals, combined with the actual situation, the School will continue to connect with alumni to implement activities appropriately and effectively.
