Speaking at the opening ceremony, after congratulating the new students and thanking the Yen Bai Provincial Center for Continuing Education for its close and effective cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the university - affirmed that opening the class in Yen Bai is a continuation of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors' policy in fulfilling the social responsibility of a leading higher education institution in social sciences and humanities towards the Northwest region in general and Yen Bai province in particular. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim also emphasized that with most of the students in the class being officials from many communes, districts, and agencies in Yen Bai province, being trained in Office Management will not only help develop the capacity of local officials but also directly contribute to improving the quality of human resources and the organizational structure of the agencies that sent officials to study. With that in mind, the University assigns the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management the responsibility of organizing training with the highest quality, ensuring compliance with current regulations, and not only focusing on teaching but also helping students understand the field, current job positions, and future career opportunities.
Also at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu - Deputy Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Center for Continuing Education - delivered a congratulatory speech to the new students, expressing gratitude for the attention and support of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in fulfilling the task of training and developing local human resources that the Center has been assigned by the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee. She noted that this course includes many students from the Mong, Dao, Tay, and Nung ethnic groups who are currently officials and employees of the province's particularly disadvantaged and mountainous communes.
