Conference on the Implementation of Local Defense and Military Work in 2015

As of December 2014, the Party Committee of the School had 313 Party members operating in 20 branches/519 cadres. The Party Committee and the School's Board of Directors paid close attention to and directed national defense and security work, creating favorable conditions for the School's Military Command to coordinate with other units and organizations to successfully implement and complete its tasks. The School's Military Command organized the dissemination of legal education, built a comprehensively strong unit according to Directive 917/CT-BQP of the Minister of National Defense; effectively carried out Party and political work in all tasks, built a healthy and rich cultural environment, and complied with State laws and military discipline. It continued to thoroughly implement Resolution No. 4 of the 11th Party Congress on "Urgent Issues Regarding Party Building Today" in conjunction with promoting "studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". Regularly organize propaganda activities, seminars, and discussions on the occasion of important national events. Strictly maintain discipline and regulations on combat readiness; closely coordinate with the police force to maintain political security and order within the school, contributing to the protection of political security and social order in the area. The self-defense and reserve forces are built strong, especially politically. In 2015, the School's Military Command continued to thoroughly implement the directives and resolutions of the leadership at all levels regarding the performance of local defense and military tasks, the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term, and the implementation programs and plans of the Party committees at all levels, ensuring quality, practicality, and timeliness. It also continued to implement the Politburo's directive on national defense and security work in the new situation, and launched the second phase of the campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh"The Party Committee assigned the School's Military Command to proactively coordinate with units and organizations to thoroughly disseminate Party and political-ideological work on national defense, security, and local military affairs to cadres and students, especially the core self-defense force, through teaching, learning, scientific research, cultural activities, arts, and sports. The main task of the Military Command in 2015 is to train and enhance the political fortitude and tactical skills of self-defense officers and soldiers to meet the requirements of combat readiness and victory when situations arise. Effectively combat and thwart the subversive plots and schemes of hostile forces. Closely coordinate with forces stationed in the area to patrol and guard, maintain political security and social order, protect the safety of the workplace and the area, especially during holidays and important political activities, with specific plans to strengthen forces to ensure political security.
